Coconut & Cashew – Mixologists Bartender Service (UK)

By booking or using our services at Coconut & Cashew Mixologists – Bartender Service (UK) (trading as Coconut & Cashew), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not book our services.


1. Definitions

  • “We”, “us”, “our”: Coconut & Cashew Mixologists – Bartender Service (UK)

  • “You”, “your”: The client or event organiser who books our services

  • “Service”: Mobile bar hire, mixology, bartender service, and related services in the UK

  • “Event”: The occasion (wedding, corporate event, private party, etc.) where our services are provided


2. Booking and confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed only when we issue a written confirmation (email or formal quote/contract).

  • All bookings are subject to availability and may be cancelled or rescheduled by us if the venue or circumstances are unsafe, unsuitable, or outside agreed terms.

  • You must provide accurate event details (date, time, venue address, guest count, special requirements). Any changes may affect pricing or service delivery.


3. Pricing and payment

  • Prices are as quoted in our confirmation and may include:

    • Bartender/mixologist fees

    • Bar equipment and setup

    • Ingredients and garnishes (unless otherwise specified)

    • Travel and service charges (if applicable)

  • We may require:

    • A non‑refundable deposit at the time of booking (amount specified in the quote)

    • Final payment in full before the event as advised in the booking confirmation

  • Payment methods accepted are as stated in our quote (e.g., bank transfer, card, secure payment link).

  • Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of the booking at our discretion, and deposit may be non‑refundable.


4. Cancellations and postponements

By you (client):

  • If you cancel the booking:

    • Cancellation within 7 days of the event: Deposit is non‑refundable, and the full balance may be payable.

    • Cancellation more than 7 days before the event: Deposit may be non‑refundable, but full balance is not payable; exact terms depend on our written quote.

  • If you postpone the event to a new date:

    • We may accept the new date at our discretion, subject to availability.

    • Deposit may be transferred to the new date; additional fees may apply if the new date or requirements change.

By us (Coconut & Cashew):
  • We may cancel the booking where:

    • The venue is unsafe or unsuitable.

    • There are health & safety or legal issues.

    • There are extreme circumstances (e.g., severe weather, official restrictions).

  • In such cases, we will refund any payments made (excluding reasonable expenses already incurred), unless otherwise agreed.


5. Service scope and responsibilities

  • We will provide:

    • Professional mixologists/bartenders as agreed.

    • Bar equipment and, where quoted, ingredients and garnishes.

    • Setup and breakdown within the agreed time frame.

  • You agree to:

    • Provide a safe, clean, and accessible workspace at the venue.

    • Disclose any known hazards or restrictions (e.g., venue rules, power limitations, age‑restricted areas).

    • Ensure an appropriate number of guests is notified and controlled (e.g., age‑restricted areas for under‑18 guests).

  • We do not take responsibility for:

    • Venue‑related issues (e.g., venue closure, power outage, lack of utilities).

    • Alcohol licensing or compliance issues if these are your responsibility.

    • Any conduct or actions of guests or third‑party suppliers.


6. Alcohol and safety

  • We comply with UK alcohol‑related laws and responsible‑service practices.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or stop serving alcohol to any individual who:

    • Appears intoxicated.

    • Is underage.

    • Behaves in a way that threatens safety or disrupts the event.

  • You, as the client, confirm that:

    • Any alcohol‑related licensing or permissions (if required) are your responsibility.

    • Guests are made aware of any age‑related or venue‑specific rules.


7. Liability and insurance

  • We aim to deliver our services with care and professionalism.

  • Our maximum liability to you is limited to the total amount you have paid for the service.

  • We do not accept liability for:

    • Indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profits, disappointment, damage to reputation).

    • Any damage caused by third‑party suppliers, guests, or the venue.

  • We hold appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance. You may request proof on request.


8. Intellectual property and branding

  • All content, branding, logos, and designs used by Coconut & Cashew are our intellectual property.

  • You may not replicate or use our branding for commercial purposes without our written permission.

  • We may use photos or videos from your event (taken by our team or venue vendors) for marketing purposes unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing.


9. Changes to these terms

  • We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

  • Any changes will apply to new bookings made after the updated date.

  • We recommend that you review this page before making new bookings.


10. Governing law and dispute resolution

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes arising from our services will be handled in good faith first via direct communication.

  • If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to the appropriate courts of England and Wales.
